Long time no blog!

Sorry for the lack of posts! I've been a busy little lady! Part time babysitter, part time makeup artist! Ha ha!I did bridal makeup about 2 weeks ago, and worked on a photo shoot this past Sunday with Kim Bartel photography! What a blast! Here's a cellphone photo of the makeup ha ha!

These ladies were so much fun to work with!

I'm officially an Temptu airbrush addict. It's so great for the Texas heat!

snow days & the hermit life

Well, I don't think anyone reads this but it's been a while since I've blogged! It's been snowy the last three days in TEXAS! One day it's almost 80 degrees and the next it's 17 & snowing!!

soo I've been stuck in the house playing with makeup and mixed up a couple tutorials i found to make my own "ke$ha" look!

this was so fun!

I also listened to the new Kesha CD while doing this so that made it more fun! haha..

What I used: Naked Palette by Urban Decay, HIP gel eyeliner by L'Oreal, 24/7 Glide on pencil by Urban Decay, Blunt by MAC, HighBeam by Benefit, a gold glitter Mascara by bare minerals, and naked lip pencil & lip stick by Urban Decay!

Finally feeling better today! I started my day off right with a cup of coffee, worked on my site a bit, grabbed a shower and took my dogs out.

My best friend in the world picked me up and we headed to Ulta!

I sat in the car and found my sunglasses... broken! How sad!

But it was amusing trying to keep them on! ha ha ha!

Anyway, so we get to Ulta, and I'm looking in the Urban Decay section... and what do I find!!?!?

THE NAKED PALETTE!!!

I was soo excited because it's always sold out, EVERYWHERE! I already have one... But I really wanted another one just in case they stop making them! ha ha!

I always picked up the new L'Oreal HIP cream liner in black... which I love... and you'll see what I used it for later...Also got an Urban Decay lipstick in "Naked" it's such a pretty color! Then my partner and crime headed to WalMart so I could get some flavorless Jello so make those "pore strips" than get all the gunk out of your skin! See the tutorial for that here!

Sunday is my most favorite day of the week! why?

• Grocery shopping with my Stepdad!
• Football all day!
• New episodes of Desperate Housewives, Family Guy, & Holly's World!
• Plus I get to spend all day with my family!

Today was also a very special day because Miss Kandee Johnson's lil cupcake was born this morning, and she is absolutely precious! AWWW!! I am so happy for her and her family! What a little blessing!

So, still sick unfortunately, so I whipped out my "Apple Cider Vinegar: Miracle Health System" book and looked up what to do for a sore throat... Mix a tablespoon of ACV and a cup of water and gargle 3 times... It also mentions that Katy Perry uses this to keep her throat germ free too!

Now off to spend some time with the family and watch AFV! Lots of love from Texas!

sick days & no make up

one thing I really hate... BEING SICK! but sometimes I do... ha ha ha! I actually have an excuse to stay in bed and not go out!

I'm glad I had one fun day / crazy night before my sickness came out! I went out with my brother looking for two player zombie-killing games, which was unsuccessful...then he took me to lunch at Parkway Grill where I got a yummy chicken wrap and drank the biggest beer I had ever had!

then I went to go see TRON: Legacy... again! I love it so much, the soundtrack is perfection ... Daft Punk is amazing and even more amazing LIVE! I feel so lucky to have seen them at Coachella!

the light show was incredible!! anyway, after tron I came home for some more beers :) then went to visit a friend I hadn't seen in a long time.... then the morning after

SICK! YUCK!

Hot tea Earl Grey with honey & lemon... good ole' Nyquil and throat spray... these are not my favorite things ha ha ha! I had the best bath today with my favorite soap (http://www.iviscents.com/) in Birthday Cake, yum! So I'm feeling a little better now...But thank goodness I have found this show on Netflix to keep me company! I'm on season 2 now

I was so sad to see Cassie go... She was my favorite because I think I identify with her most of all.. Today I found out the American version of this show (which I heard is bloody terrible... ha ha ha!) is being taken to Congress to be banned because of the "Child Pornography" ... But for some reason I don't see MTV being dumb enough to actually show naked 15 year olds... anyway... Guess I'll finish my show...
