Febru-favorites!

It's been a while since I posted anything, so I thought I'd do a few of my favorite things from this year!

Naked 2 palette by Urban Decay - I was so excited to get this baby for Christmas! Much like the first one, but just as beautiful! I love all these colors, I believe most of them are new as well.

It even comes with a two sided brush that is fan-tab-u-lous! One side is fluffy and the other is a flat brush.

and also includes a gloss in "Naked"! It's so beautiful on! It looks great paired with the "Naked" lip pencil. I definitely give this palette a 5/5 stars just like the original palette!

Urban Decay's 15th Anniversary palette! This thing is a beaut! It's got fancy case with a mirror and all... If your a big Urban Decay lover like me, you'll want this!

All 15 of these shadows are brand new! I've been going to raves lately and these colors are so perfect! But also good for a neutral look!

Okay, so I'm not the biggest nail polish fanatic. But I absolutely love this Zoya polish in "Demin" I got in my Birchbox (If you don't know what Birchbox is check it out here! I'll do a post when I get my next one.) I la-la-love demin, so I definitely dug this color! Zoya is a great product and all natural! You can purchase it on their website here: Zoya.com

Last time I got my hair cut my stylist (Liz at Looking Good Spa) recommended this stuff to me & raved about how much she loved it. SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! It's a little pricey, about 27$ for shampoo, 27$ for conditioner. But I got this sweet deal in the photo: shampoo, conditioner, full size hair spray, & a fancy headband for about 50$! I really adore this stuff, it's so hydrating, and smells amazing. You only need a small amount too, so it lasts a long time, plus it's all natural, and 100% Vegan!

So, lately I've been on the hunt for cheap drugstore goodies. Here are my new favorite drugstore finds!

L'Oreal's HIP Gel Liner

This stuff won't budge! Ever tired of reapplying that eyeliner on your waterline? Fear no more! I've  applied this & ever after washing my face and using eye makeup remover, and it still stays on! (Depending on you, this could be a good or bad thing!)

Yes To Cucumbers Facial Towelettes

Ever come home too tired or too drunk to wash that makeup off your face? Problem solved! These babies are inexpensive, get rid of all that makeup, & make your face feel fresh. Say "Yes To" these!

NYX Jumpo Pencils

I've heard great reviews on this product, and they're all true! I bought this in "Lime" and I la-la-love it! I plan on buying a lot more. Just make sure you put on an eye primer first! It also makes a great shadow base.

NYX Candy Glitter Liner

I'd never tried a glitter liner before I got this stuff, and let me tell ya, I adore it! I got this in "Crystal Aqua", this stuff is so fun, great for a night out on the town. It gives you that extra "pop" to your eye for a fun look!

Wet N Wild Color Icon Pallet 

I've been hearing great things about this new line from Wet N Wild on Beautylish, I was pretty skeptical at first because this brand hasn't really been popular since the 90's, ha ha ha! But, I thought I'd check it out anyway. Let me say... WOW! This stuff is great. I absolutely LOVE it! I bought the "Pride" pallet, this stuff is SUPER pigmented, it stayed on all day long (with Urban Decay's eyeshadow primer potion of course)! I give it 5/5 stars!

L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara 

Okay, so this is not a "new" favorite... But, lately I've tried two new $20-$25 mascaras (Bad Gal lash by Benefit & Too Faced Eyelash Injection) and they are nothing compared to this mascara. I swear by this stuff, it stays put all day long, though it is a bit hard to get off, I don't think I'll be using any other mascara any time soon!

Long time no blog!

Sorry for the lack of posts! I've been a busy little lady! Part time babysitter, part time makeup artist! Ha ha!I did bridal makeup about 2 weeks ago, and worked on a photo shoot this past Sunday with Kim Bartel photography! What a blast! Here's a cellphone photo of the makeup ha ha!

These ladies were so much fun to work with!

I'm officially an Temptu airbrush addict. It's so great for the Texas heat!

snow days & the hermit life

Well, I don't think anyone reads this but it's been a while since I've blogged! It's been snowy the last three days in TEXAS! One day it's almost 80 degrees and the next it's 17 & snowing!!

soo I've been stuck in the house playing with makeup and mixed up a couple tutorials i found to make my own "ke$ha" look!

this was so fun!

I also listened to the new Kesha CD while doing this so that made it more fun! haha..
